See the height adjustable edit desk in action

We launched our brand new desk product at BVE London at the beginning of the month, and now you can see it in action!

Watch our video to see how the new height adjustable edit desk can be altered at the touch of a button. There is also the facility to pre-set memory positions as well as height control via bluetooth.

The anti-collision mechanism ensures that fingers or items do not become trapped. Cable management using caterpillar tracks ensures that all cabling from the cable baskets below the worktop are taken up to the desk surface carefully. This is particularly important to ensure that cables do not become stressed or entangled, and this method safely addresses the issue.

With a choice of two sizes available, our demonstration model is the 1800mm wide version, with 2400mm also available, ask our sales team for a quotation.

New Broadcast Furniture for the JCB Presentation Theatre

MW Video Systems have recently completed the design and supply of two custom made consoles for the globally recognised construction and agricultural machinery manufacturer, JCB. As part of a major upgrade to the AV and media equipment at the 250-seat theatre within the visitors centre at their headquarters in Rocester, MW Video were tasked by main contractors Feltech to provide the technical furniture. The two consoles have been fitted to the new production control rooms and transmission control rooms, which are now responsible for the input and output of all events, reveals, outside broadcasts and films in different languages.

The project required tight deadlines, in time for the hosting of JCB’s largest event to date, the Global Dealer conference. MW Video Systems worked closely with main contractor Feltech to design and supply the furniture, which also included Novus monitor mounting arms and laptop holders, to meet the project deadline. Feltech’s Sales Director, Nevil Bounds commented “we took an approach that “the show must go on” and under the leadership of Feltech Project manager Neil Whybrow, we met the deadline” .

The success of the project has resulted in well-deserved recognition for Feltech. In June 2013, Feltech won the Business Installation of the Year Award at the AV Awards for their role in this project, and in January 2014 it has been announced that Feltech are shortlisted as finalists in the Inavate 2014 awards in the category “corporate facilities”.

For more information, download our case study here and read more from Feltech on their role as main contractor for the project here.
